The original counter that figures in the home page show a record of more than twenty thousand entrances, but they don't cover the other 800 or 1000 additional sub-pages that compose the entirety website of FelixBerroa.com, that would multiply or triplicate the numbers. If we put the same counter in those 800 or 1000 sub-pages, it would count the other entrances to FelixBerroa.com that don't enter to the home page, but would also "repeat" the entrances that enter to several of our pages in one visit, trick that many websites use to have a "very bulky" entrances number.
Through those four years, Félix Berroa has received hundred of encouraging emails on its work, the general website, and the Newsletter that encourage him to continue with this project.

Felix Berroa no tiene ningun anuncio en el website ofreciendo servicios publicos, pero a veces, los emails recibidos no se relacionan con su obra o el Newsleter, sino preguntandole por algun artista especifico al que se desea encontrar para comunicarse. A veces, Felix Berroa esta super ocupado, trabajando en algun proyecto o varios proyectos. Sin embargo, siempre saca unos minutos para responder estos emails. Los complejos proyectos en que trabaja, no se detendran o frustraran porque se detenga unos minutos. (Algunas personas suelen ahogarse en su propio ego). "Lamentablemente, hoy dia, el animo de cooperacion entre la familia artistica estas fundamentada en el interes economico o politico. En un gran numero de casos, se escribe sobre un artista en los periodicos o revistas a cambios de obras o este suele ser ignorado. No era asi antes de mi salida en 1981. Aunque yo estuviese dispuesto a suministrar una obra por x publicacion, soy algo timido para adoptar la iniciativa. Yo suministro fotos de obras para ilustrar libros, para ser agregado a otros websites y hago los porfolios invitados sin el mas minimo interes material de mi parte. Lo hago, especialmente, como una muestra de afecto de un dominicano ausente, de aqui para los que estan alla y los amigos que voy conociendo en este viaje que se llama "vida".
En mi epoca dominicana habia un gran animo de cooperacion desinteresada entre artistas de las artes plasticas (pintores, dibujantes, escultores, grabadores, etc), y poetas, escritores, criticos, periodistas, actores, folkloristas y antropologos. Los artistas plasticos cooperabamos con ellos suministrandoles obras o fotos de obras para ilustrar sus trabajos y ellos escribian para nuestros catalogos o publicaciones. Mateo Morrison realizaba una labor extraordinaria como director del Suplemento Cultural "Aqui Cultural" del periodico "La Noticia", donde en una ocacion mi obra grafica, una xilografia titulada "Lo Nuevo y lo Duradero" salio en la portada. En mi ultima exposicion antes de emigracion hacia USA, Unberto Soto Ricard, Faustino Perez y Diogenes Valdez, escribieron las presentaciones para el catalogo. De la misma manera, llegue a cooperar con algunos escritores, como es el caso de la ilustracion de la portada para dos de los libros de la coleccion poetica "Luna Cabeza Caliente" dirigida por Alexis Gomez Rosa.
Los acidentes sociales cambian el comportamiento de las personas, complicando el vivir, que se supone no deba de ser tan complejo, especialmente si se vive en el Caribe, un paraiso transformado en tormenta por los inescrupulsos, que encabezan los "politiqueros". |
