PRIVATE ART CLASSES IN MARIETTA

Artist Felix Berroa is accepting students for private art classes in his studio. Lessons are schedule any time between 10am to 6pm, one or two hours per week, but student will be able to arrange more hours. He will be accepting student with minimal abilities and knowledge in art and those who would like to increase their art abilities and knowledge or simple like to learn new techniques, as drawing with ink or pastel, woodcut or silkscreen, etc.
All art lessons will be $25.00 per hour plus supplies. Students who taking two hours in a week, $20.00 each.
Artist Felix Berroa will be teaching any technique from a group he had produce most of his works:
DRAWING -basic for beginner and intermediate or experimental- : graphite pencil, charcoal pencil, "pen and indian ink" w/ black or sepia indian ink, brush w/ black or sepia indian ink... on fine cardboard of drawing, drawing paper, papier-canson or similar. Drawing lesson will be base in the human figure. Will be explore proportion, anatomy, light and shadow, etc.
PAINTING -basic for beginner and intermediate or experimental- : acrylic and oil on paper and canvas, watercolor.
PRINTMAKING (Grabado) : woodcut, linoleum-cut, collagraphic, silk screen. Silk screen (serigraphic) is a very important technique that can be use as fine art graphic or publicity. Silkscreen for art: graphic of people, landscape, flowers, abstract, etc.; Silkscreen for publicity: T-shirt, flyers, poster, decals, etc.
Student will pick only one technique in an hour of lesson. Election of technique will depend on training or personal interest. If you are a beginning, is recommended to take first "Basic Drawing". If you take two hours lessons in a week, "Basic Drawing" the first hour and a technique of you preference in the second.
Typically, who have interest in fine arts lessons?: those in the teen who feel have talent for the visual arts and like in the future to take fine arts courses in college; those who always felling have an "artist inside", but never had chance to go to a visual art school; those who have ready some drawing or painting abilities and like to increase learning new techniques; those who like to learn an area of the visual art as a hobby and impress family and friends; those who like to learn art as a therapy to distract their mind from personal problems; or simple, those in the "third age" who want to fill their life with a new passion. (Visual Arts or Fine Arts: Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Graphic,.....).
Call or email to reserve you space. Limited of 4 students per day lesson. Art lessons will be schedule from 5pm to 6pm on week days (Students prefer two hours continuous: from 5pm to 7pm). Lessons can be schedule for weekend, only if artist Felix Berroa do not have any outdoor show during that time.
