Felix Berroa create most of his works motivated in those human beings considered weaks and tenders, but with a very strong power: women and childrens. The first as a giver of life and the second as a future promise.

Felix Berroa ha creado la mayoria de sus trabajos motivado en aquellos seres humanos considerados como los mas hermosos, debiles y tiernos, pero con un gran poder: mujeres y ninos. Los primeros como engendradores de vida y los segundos como promesa del futuro.

DEDICACION DE ESTA GALERIA - DEDICATION OF THIS GALLERY

Muchas personas me han ayudado en esta dificil carrera de Arte. Especialmente quiero dedicar esta galeria a cuatro personas que tomaron importante parte en el curso que recorrio mi arte en Dominicana: mi hermano Lic. Jose Berroa, la artista y profesora Rosa Tavarez, la critico de arte Marianne de Tolentino y el Rector de la Universidad Central del Este Dr. Jose E. Hazin Frappier. (orden de nombre de acuerdo a sus apariciones en mi recorrido artistico)

"Segun nos cuentas Henri Roldan, uno de los Directores de la Comedia Francesa, seiscientos jovenes se aglomeran cada año ante las puertas del Conservatorio de Paris para estudiar Arte Dramatico. Muchos de ellos poseen ya por su origen familiar una posicion privilegiada en el seno de la sociedad y no necesitan afrontar los azares de una carrera ingrata que solo recompensa a algunos elegidos...

Si volvemos nuestros ojos a Santo Domingo, donde el destino del joven artista es mas incierto que en Paris, observamos que cada año aumenta el numero de los aspirantes a los cursos de artes plasticas, principalmente pintura y danza, sin contar los musicos y la infinidad creciente de poetas pudibundos que nunca salen a la luz." Many people give me great support thru this difficult career of Art. Specially I like to mention four persons who has important roll in the course my art take: my brother Lic. Jose Berroa, Artist and Professor Rosa Tavarez, Art Critic Marianne de Tolentino, and Dr. Jose E. Hazin Frappier, Rector of the Universidad Central del Este. (Order of name by their appearances through my art).ca".

Many of them has ready by their familiar origen a privileged position in their society an not need to facing the hazards of a ungrateful career that only reward some chosen...

If we look back to Santo Domingo, where the destiny of the young artist is more untrue that in Paris, we will observed that each year increase the number of the aspirants in the fine arts courses, principally painting and dance, without count the musicians and the growing infinity of modest poets that nevercame out to light."
